This will keep up to 3 days (that I know of, it might last longer) in the fridge. It gets tastier and much more flavorful with time. If you're looking for a tasty way to enjoy your hummus, try this hummus glazed salmon, it's incredibly delish!

Ingredients

  • a 15 oz. can chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
  • 2 tablespoons tahini (made from ROASTED sesame seeds, the plain one tastes too bland to me)
  • 3 tablespoons toasted corn flour
  • 3-4 cloves garlic (you may use 2 if you're not the biggest fan of it)
  • a handful flat leaf parsley
  • 4-5 tablespoons pasteurized egg whites (use as much as you need to reach desired consistency)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (use less if you can't handle the heat)
  • salt (to taste)

Directions

1.
Hummus is super easy to make, but you have to blend garlic + parsley before you add the rest of ingredients, otherwise you'll get big chunks of them in your hummus.
2.
Blend everything together in a food processor. A blender will do, but it might take longer. Check to see if it needs more liquid. If so, either add more egg whites (you can't taste them, I promise) or extra virgin olive oil if you like the flavor.
