Hi buttercups! Hope you’re all well! I’ll be keeping it short (and naturally) sweet today since I’ve got tons of revision left to do and I’m pretty much running out of ideas for a post which doesn’t involve: complaining about laundry, lusting over pretty much every male character in Game of Thrones and telling you about the insane amount of hours I’ve been procrastinating lately…
If you want a post on those, feel free to check like my 7821739273 posts, because that seems to be all I talk about lately. And yes, by “lately” I mean “for the past 10 months” but hey what’s new.
I’ll tell you what’s new: I finally put on my grown-up pants and did laundry yesterday (mostly because I ran out of money to buy new undies but who’s judging). Now I have this huge new problem where I’ve got to fold all my clean clothes and stuff, so I’m not sure if this counts as an improvement???
Whatever. See? I cannot seem to write a post which doesn’t involve one of those 3 things. I might as well start to call this blog “game of laundry”.
Tssss. So unfunny. I shouldn’t be allowed near a laptop when my only neuron is fried after 1000000 hours of revision. Creativity, creativity, where are thou.
Back to the smoothie – this baby is as creamy, chocolaty and lush as it gets. It pretty much feels as if you were having a thick and delicious milkshake for breakfast, but it’s actually packed with nutrition to help you start your day off right!
You guys cannot miss this one if like the peanut butter + chocolate combo as much as I do. Add some maca and you’re in for the yummiest of drinks: velvety chocolate with a salty hint and a caramel touch… if that doesn’t sound like heaven of a mason jar, then I don’t know what it is.
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 medjool dates, pitted
- 1 tbsp. raw cacao powder
- 1 + 1/2 tsp. maca powder
- 2 tbsp. peanut butter
- 1 tbsp. rolled oats
- 200ml. almond milk
- Add in all the ingredients to a vitamix or blender and pulse until smooth.
- Add more sweetener if you want a sweeter drink and more milk if you want a thinner drink.
