Tropical Peach Smoothie Bowls

Bonjourrr I am alive and back home safe & sound if you’re curious! I suppose that I’ve told you before, but I was on holidays in Ireland aaaand even when I had lots of posts ready to blog about, I didn’t feel like doing so, hence my absence for the past two weeks (oops).

It’s not that I don’t like blogging, GOD NO, I really adore it. But I guess we all need some time off every now and then so we don’t burn out (at least I do!), don’t we? So my apologies for the absence of cookie dough related posts lately. I am now fully back ready to blow your minds with lots more of chocolaty concoctions.

(((Sorry for the crappy writing ahh I’ve kinda forgotten how to write (oops #2) but I hope I’ll be back in track soon)))

Tropical Peach Smoothie Bowl: it tastes like ice-cream but it's actually healthy and packed with vitamins and nutrients!

But for now let’s have something lighter, shall we? Because I might or might haven’t eaten twice my bodyweight in Cadbury chocolate during this week <<< let’s keep that our secret, k? Soooo let’s bring on all the creamy, light, healthy vitamin-packed smoothie bowls before summer is over and I feel really weird eating this so-called tropical stuff!

Let’s talk holidays now. This was my third year in Ireland, and it was BY FAR the best one. I was lucky enough to meet some truly wonderful people who made my stay absolutely amazing. The place itself was beyond gorgeous, and so was the scenery. I’m missing it so much!

I had some lovely pictures to show you all how wonderful those green hills and clear waters were buuuut I kid you not when I say that I have spent the past FOUR HOURS trying to upload them without success so I’ve resolved to gave up before I end up smashing both my laptop and phone against the wall.

Sorry about that 🙁 I’ll keep on trying to see if I can show you those darn pics on my upcoming posts.

Nooooow, let’s move onto these smoothie bowls: light, healthy and refreshing, they’re exactly what you (and by you I mean “I”) need to detox after a couple of weeks living on chocolate. Mmmm chocolate.

Tropical Peach Smoothie Bowl: it tastes like ice-cream but it's actually healthy and packed with vitamins and nutrients!

These smoothie bowls are made of simply fruit and some yogurt, but they taste just like fruity ice-cream. Seriously, what’s not to love? Bonus points for the fact that you can top them with extra fruit and make them look like the prettiest girls in town.

Sooooo take my advice and make yourself a big bowl of this tropical concoction before summer is over and you find yourself craving all the hot chocolate (which for me is like all the time but hey, let’s keep on talking smoothie bowls now!).

Smoothie bowls + your mouth = happiness.

  6. 1 cup coconut milk
  7. liquid stevia to taste

Once more, sorry about everything. It miht take me a couple of days to get back on the grind and comment on all your blogs and stuff (which I’m really looking forward to, I’ve missed you soooo much guys!) but I will eventually get there! I’ve got lots of posts ready so stay tuned because I’ll be back to normal posting (aka not crappy posts like today’s but I’m feeling a bit under the weather and it’s al I can do 🙁 mm sorry I a this whiny today) in a couple of days time!

Thanks for everything!

Welcome back from your vacation. I think we all need a little break. I was just talking about how a blogging break is good and keeps me from getting burned out. Love this smoothie! I need to try one of these 😀

Welcome, Consuelo! I’m glad you brought a smoothie bowl with you — this looks delicious! They’re all the rage here in California, and I have yet to try one. I’d love this for breakfast!

Gah! I want to sink my teeth into this right now. Beeee-ooooo-ti-fullllllll. And, I have to tell you, this —> “eaten twice my bodyweight in Cadbury chocolate” sounds like a heavenly vacation to me. I’d take a few weeks off for that! 🙂

Absolutely nothing wrong with taking a break every now and again, Consuelo! So glad you enjoyed your time in Ireland and yes, would love to see your photos when you get them uploaded … would love to visit Ireland some time!
This fruity dessert looks so fabulous – what a great idea! – although I have to admit I was thinking about chocolate the whole way through your post … haha! I grew up on Cadbury’s chocolate, although I have to admit my tastes have changed since I’ve got older. I find that chocolate too sweet and fatty now!

Welcome back! I missed you while you were gone but am so thrilled you took some time off to relax and refresh, especially after how hard I know you worked toward the end of the school year. Can’t wait to see your photos! In the meantime, I’m happy to stare at these for awhile. Can you believe I have never had a smoothie bowl? You’ve officially convinced me it’s time to try one!

Welcome back and don’t apologise! It’s great to have you back but like you said it’s important to take it slow, even if it means prioritizing other things over the much loved food blogging thing 😉
